Thanx Poised for Growth With New Office in Denver

Thanx, which empowers merchants to grow their business through deeper customer loyalty, today announced the opening of a new office in downtown Denver to accommodate a rapidly growing sales team and leverage the area’s growing high-technology talent pool. With corporate headquarters in San Francisco, Thanx’s new office in Denver supports the company’s growth strategy.

At the end of 2016, Thanx announced a $17.1M Series B round of funding from Icon Ventures and Sequoia Capital to accelerate the company’s growth. Since then, the company has grown more than 250%, adding new employees across every function, and increased the customer base by more than 70%.

Some notable new customers include Crew Carwash, a 30-location business in Indianapolis and La Boulangerie de San Francisco, the iconic french bakery chain which was purchased by Starbucks in 2012 and reopened by the founders in 2015.

Last month, Dave Collier joined Thanx to lead the growing sales team and manage the Denver office. A sales veteran, Collier was most recently Vice President of Global Sales at HotSchedules, which served the restaurant and hospitality industries. Previously, he spent more than a decade at Oracle, serving in senior sales roles. “Dave has an incredible track record of scaling sales teams across multiple industries,” said Zach Goldstein, Founder and CEO of Thanx. “We are thrilled to have him help us scale and execute on our vision of helping merchants drive deeper, data-driven relationships with their best customers.” “Denver has proven to be an incredibly dynamic hub for talent,” said Dave Collier, VP of Sales. “It’s also exciting to see how many of the candidates I am speaking with have used the Thanx loyalty platform with local merchants and restaurants, including Treads, Hi Performance Car Wash, Mike’s Auto Spa, Richie’s Express Carwash and Tupelo Honey, a Southern Food Restaurant found in six states.”
