Four Months to Go Live: How Cheba Hut Hit a Hard Loyalty Migration Deadline

‍

‍
Cheba Hut did not pick its loyalty migration timeline. A contract did.

"We essentially had four months from the time that we had signed with Thanx to needing to go live, and strictly because of contractual obligations." Adam Porter, Senior Director of Marketing, says the internal worry was the obvious one.

"There were a lot of folks behind the scenes that were like, oh my gosh, are we going to have to try to find a way to extend our contract with our existing provider?"

What settled it was documentation rather than heroics.

"An onboarding process that was really well organized and put together, that essentially gave us all of the important dates and exactly when we needed specific pieces in order to hit our timeline."

"There was never a moment where I felt like we didn't know where we were headed."

Cheba Hut went live on schedule. "We actually had no problem hitting that timeline."

The read for operators: most brands switching loyalty platforms are working against a contract end date they cannot move. The question for a vendor is not whether they can hit your date. It is whether they will show you the dated plan that gets you there.
