Unified Rewards Signup Link — A Cleaner, More Trusted Guest Experience

All guest-facing loyalty experiences are now consolidated under a single domain: rewards.thanx.com.

Previously, guests were routed to multiple URLs:

  • signup.thanx.com for reward redemption and Super Signup
  • mobile.thanx.com for communication preferences, unsubscribe, and support

Now, everything lives under one trusted home, creating a more polished and consistent experience.

Why it matters:

  • Improves deliverability and reduces link-related confusion
  • Establishes a single, recognizable domain for all loyalty interactions
  • No changes required from operators — old URLs automatically redirect

Points Restrictions — Keep Loyalty Fair and Margin-Friendly

Large-format orders—like catering or fundraising—can unintentionally trigger oversized point accruals. Points Restrictions give you control by letting you set a maximum points cap per transaction.

This ensures that loyalty feels fair for everyday diners while still rewarding all customers appropriately.

Why it matters:

  • Prevents unusually high point earnings on large checks
  • Protects program economics without removing the guest benefit
  • Applies automatically with no manual oversight needed

Weekly Location Summary Report — Give Operators the Metrics They Need

A new Weekly Location Summary report is now available in Insights Lab, purpose-built for managers who don’t use the full Thanx dashboard (franchisees, GMs, regional leads).

What’s inside:

  • Core loyalty + sales metrics (avg. check, purchase count, capture rate, etc.)
  • Both monthly rollups and weekly breakdowns for the most recent 3–4 weeks

The report is designed for easy distribution, making it simple to keep every team aligned and informed.

Multi-Use Rewards Reporting — Accurate ROI for Multi-Redemption Campaigns

Campaigns that issue multiple rewards at once (e.g., “5 free coffees” instead of one) now receive full, accurate, and detailed performance reporting.

This new report tracks:

  • Every reward issued
  • Every redemption event
  • The true revenue generated

It also sets the foundation for expanded reporting capabilities coming later this quarter.

Why it matters:

  • Captures the complete impact of multi-redemption campaigns
  • Ensures revenue and engagement metrics are accurate
  • Prepares all campaigns for enhanced reporting in future updates

💡 Additional Improvements

A few more updates designed to enhance reliability, accuracy, and guest experience:

  • Unified Offer Management for Toast and Qu POS
Toast, Qu, and Square now share a single offer management system. Operators don’t need to take any action—this update ensures more consistent performance and faster improvements across all POS integrations.
  • Gift card purchases now earn points
For check-in loyalty brands using Toast, Square, and Qu POS, gift card purchases now accrue points, aligning with industry expectations and keeping accrual rules consistent.
  • More precise check-in classification
In-store and online check-ins are now tracked separately, enabling better segmentation and clearer reporting on guest behavior.
  • Improved location mapping for Qu + Square
Locations now sync automatically every 15 minutes, reducing manual setup time and ensuring system accuracy.
